Purchase Card Continuing Education Online Course Overview
This self-paced online training course will prepare the Oklahoma county government cardholder to use the purchase card in a responsible and accountable manner. After the initial training, the purchase cardholder and Purchasing Agent are required to take this training every two years from the date of the last training session.
Payment
County employees who wish to be invoiced must register first on the County Training Program Online Registration site.
Learning Objectives
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Identify roles & responsibilities for state agencies, contract holder, and county government in the county government purchase card program
- Describe the process required to participate in the purchase card program and obtain a purchase card
- Identify the steps in a typical purchase with a purchase card
- Explain the overall use of the purchase card including controls, limits, and prohibited uses
- Describe the basic processes and procedures involved in purchase card operations
You can work on this course any time, 24/7 for up to 60 days. You will engage in learning activities and take quizzes. The course is divided into five modules, which can be completed at your own pace. Each module should take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
To complete the course, you must access all pages and earn at least 80% on all assessments. A certificate will be available to download after the course is completed.
